Visitors to our exhibition stand on Wednesday 26th April were given a feast for their eyes as well as tasting the fantastic food from the whole day catering solutions, created by HCL’s Development Chef David Gower and LACA School Chef of the Year finalist Michael Goulston.
The mini menu samples that delighted visitors were a canapé breakfast selection of a spiced apple toddy, a natural yogurt, fruit compote with super-food granola and courgette scones with tomato cream cheese and date butter; whilst lunchtime visitors feasted on delicious creamy, spiced butternut squash soup or chunky vegetable chilli served with soured cream and chives and sprinkled with low fat cheddar cheese.
Afternoon visitors weren’t left out either; as HCL offered a mini afternoon tea, consisting of delicious pressed haloumi, red pepper and herb sandwiches along with a sweet treat of mini parsnip and lemon drizzle cakes. Taste buds were truly tantalised as HCL proudly presented their wares to the eager business leaders and Head teachers who visited the Academies Show.
“Everyone visiting our stand commented on the quality of our food, and once they tasted it, they couldn’t help coming back for more!” said Tracie Bere, HCL’s Marketing & Brand Manager. “It was truly rewarding to chat to so many potential new clients who were captivated by our bespoke branding, merchandising and the services we offer.
“We pride ourselves in demonstrating the innovation, enthusiasm and quality of our business structure, ensuring that HCL reaps it market positioning within the education catering sector – we even had clients taking photographs of our fantastic stand at the Academy Show, which is a true accolade of our achievements.”
